Stuart and Julie McQueen provide excellent care to all the horses at their facility, whether the horses are there for training or boarding.

FEEDING:

Horses are fed only the highest quality hay, alfalfa or grass hay, depending on the horses needs.  Additional grain / supplements are given as needed.

STALL CLEANING:

Stalls are cleaned daily.  

We have excellent stall cleaners who take pride in making sure the stalls are well cared for and that the barn is neat and clean.  We use our tractor with a manure spreader to clean the stalls, and we spread the manure on our property 1/4 of a mile away from the barn.  This greatly reduces the fly population in the summer.

The box stalls in the main barn are bedded with shavings, and the outside stalls have soft sand in the shelters.  

 

The McQueens are very vigilant about providing the best health care possible for all the horses at the facility.   We organize all the spring and fall vaccinations for our clients, deworming, and any other routine or additional vet care an owner would like.  
We also maintain all horses on a regular shoeing / trimming schedule.

Dr. Naugle has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 40 years and 
specializes in horses ONLY.

Dr. Suit is Dr. Naugles new associate and is a 2006 graduate
 of Colorado State University, Fort Collins,  School of Veterinary Medicine.

Mike and Isack work as a team to provide excellent farrier work to keep our  horses feet in the best shape possible.  They both specialize in shoeing the performance horse, including reiners.
