He has gotten a late start due to a cut he received on his leg while at the previous owners facility. His cut is now healed and he is ready to go to work. "Chance" is a very nice mover, has a fantastic disposition and has a pedigree of proven winners. He is by "DSM Iba Fancyzippo" APHA superior western pleasure horse and he is out of a daughter of "Invitation Only" who is in the NSBA Hall of Fame and is the AQHA #1 Performance Sire. "Sonny" is a big beautiful gelding. He has been shown at APHA shows by a novice amateur in halter, showmanship, hunter under saddle and western pleasure. Sonny could go other directions as well. He is about 15.3 and big enough to be a fancy head horse, or steer stopping horse, a nice ranch horse or just a pretty trail riding horse as well. "Pistol" is very athletic, has a proven pedigree of performance champions and has a fantastic disposition!
He is by "Chics Buddy Lee" who stands at the Draggin A Ranch in Eagle, CO. "Chics Buddy Lee" is a son of $6+ Million Dollar Sire, "Smart Chic Olena". With limited showing "Chics Buddy Lee" is a 2 time AQHA World Show qualifier in reining, and has earned NRHA and NRCHA money. He is continuing to be shown. "Pistol's" mom was in training for the NRHA Futurity when she hurt herself. She has been unshown do to her injury, but is our best lesson horse. She is by a son of "Zippo Pine Bar" AQHA and NSBA Hall of Fame Horse.
This colt combines the best of both bloodlines and has the talent, ability and disposition to excel in the show pen. He has been saddled and will be continued to be started this summer.
