McQueen Performance Horses, Inc. trains and shows multiple breeds but focuses primarily on Quarter Horses and Paint Horses. However, we have worked with a variety of breeds and welcome them all for training.

LESSONS:

We teach riding lessons for all ages and level of riders. You may haul in with your own horse, or we have very well trained lesson horses available for use.
We also include lessons to owners who have horses in training with us at no additional cost.   Those lessons are included in the monthly training fee. We encourage owners to take as many lessons as possible while their horses are here in training, so they can follow through with the horses training at home.

Julie McQueen showing "See Me Flash You" - 2003 APHA Mare by "Sir Flash Prize" out of a daughter of "See Me Com En." "Flashy" started her training and show career with McQueen Performance Horses, Inc. in 2006. "Flashy" is owned by Valerie Scott of Penrose, CO. and will continue to be shown in 2008 in all-around novice amateur events with Valerie, and open classes with Julie.

Julie McQueen showing "DA Steadys Choice" - 2000 AQHA / PHBA Gelding by "Steady Tradition" a son of "Smart Little Lena." "Eddie" has been trained and shown by McQueen Performance Horses, Inc. at AQHA and PHBA shows . "Eddie" is owned by John Yuhas and Jessica Bleyhl of Vernon, NJ.

"Prime Time Kid" 2004 APHA / PtHA gelding. 2005 PtHA Reserve World Champion Halter Horse by "No Time For Kidding" out of "Pretty Conclusive." Started under saddle for his performance career by McQueen Performance Horses, Inc. "Kid" is owned by Terry Palm of Penrose, CO.

Stuart McQueen with Novice-Amateur student Melissa Gard. McQueen Performance Horses, Inc. started Melissa's horse "Fancysonnyboy" a 2002 APHA gelding. Melissa began showing "Sonny" in 2007 in amateur all-around events and will continue showing in 2008.

Stuart on his mare "Zippos Too Pretty" 1997 AQHA mare, "Zippo Pine Bar" granddaughter. Stuart raised and trained "Jewel" She was headed for the NRHA futurity when she hurt herself, and thus was unshown as a reiner. She was shown western pleasure, and now, is our broodmare and best lesson horse!! "Jewel" is a full sister to "Zips Silk Stalking" 2006 IBHA World Champion.

Julie McQueen (heeling) on "Diamond Cufflinks" APHA Gelding by "Diamond Eyes" at USTRC National Finals. "Nitro" was trained by Julie McQueen. Julie and "Nitro" have won numerous USTRC championships, jackpot ropings, money and prizes. "Nitro" has been used at PRCA rodeos, used in the branding pen, and in addition to heeling, he can turn steers and rope calves. "Nitro" is a great lesson horse for the beginner roper.

"TVR Two Times an Ima" 2006 AQHA pleasure/all-around prospect started by Julie. "Ben" is by "Ima Benchmark" out of a daughter of "Silky Fox"	Julie schooling "Heza Texas Gambler". "Tex" is an all-around horse by "Texas Tradition" out of a daughter of "Gambling Man" APHA Superior All-Around horse.	Julie schooling "Tex" - working cow horse.
